Rocky Horror: A Creation
Actor Peter Hinwood

Rocky is the namesake of the play, and he appears on the original program for the Theatre Upstairs production. Originally incarnated by Rayner Bourton, who was auditioning for Frank. You can read all about it in Rayner's book - see the Books and Magazines section.

Sal Piro describes Rocky in the 1984 Audience Participation poster:

"Dr. Furter's Golden Boy, his crowning achievement. Gold briefs, gold shoes, muscles everywhere, blonde hair and bedroom eyes. Not too bright (imagine having half of Eddie's brain!).

"So named for the rocks in his head."

(If you have trouble remembering dialogue, play Rocky. Exhibitionists only need apply.)"
